Any attribute over 5 works like a multiplier for affected synergies for said stats and skills. I won't go telling you which attribute does what as everything is fairly intuitive. One can be a jack-of-all-trades in Underrail but that often works against the player as skill points and attributes are capped. There is wisdom in experience and players that invested even just 100 hours or so in playing the game have more or less known how the system works. This is a general rule often used by many players across multiple games but it is often better to follow guides for your first( second or third, depending on how you fare at Junkyard) build. Now, my first point is of the Character Attributes and Skills: It is a beautiful language to be spoken of. I would also personally require responses, if you can, to be given back in Advatongue. Follow the wiki instructions if you want to ensure you get it right. To all new, old and dominating players of yore!Īs we now get to see new lands soon, I would like to provide my personal insights on how not to be "un ideotik schlomor" as they say. This is a very tricky questline and you can succeed at a step but still not be given the next quest because you didn't do it "optimally". And I'll also do Abram/Jake Quicksilver's questline for a very nice convenience item. And on Dominating, well higher is better.įor convenience, I usually do The Dudes quest line now to open up a new mode of fast travel. The expedition is generally ok around level 15 on Normal difficulty. Some Core City quests are easier and can be done sooner, but knowing which is not obvious for a new player. Foundry: The Beast (this can be tough for some builds at this point, Gas Grenades are a huge help)įrom here, you should have no trouble with any quest you get in Core City.Foundry: Balor's Eye (this can be tough for some builds at this point).Rathound King (this can be tough for some builds and can be put off until later if needed). You can go earlier if you like, there is an early encounter that usually gives you a good idea if you are ready.Īfter Battery Plant and Camp Hathor Mines I usually do: Depending on your skills and build, I would only go with about 18+ levels to my name. I would hold off a little while on the Expedition content, it is quite difficult if you are new. This is also a good way to get some good xp. There is also a place named the Foundry with a lot of neat quests and lore. There is a lot to do there, and a lot of xp to gain. Afterwards, you could start exploring Core city, this has to be done sooner or later to progress the main story anyway. Rail crossing is definitely your next focus in my opinion. There is no shame in proceeding with other areas until you are strong enough though. The rat hound king is the most convenient quest to finish from your current position, but it might be difficult depending on your build. Howdy! I think you have chosen the correct place to start. My character is a level 14 psi user, in case that matters. Where do you all suggest I go first? Should I be wandering around the tunnels already or should I wait until I get some kind of quest that sends me there? It often happens to me that when open world games really open up and reveal a lot of different directions at the same time I start feeling kind of lost and intimidated, and this is a game hard enough that it might be best if I do things in a certain order, probably. Core City (which would be daunting in itself). I already went to the battery station and cleared Camp Hathor of burrowers, but even aside from that there's: I am new (53 hours, counting a couple of restarts) and enjoying the game a lot, but I feel completely overwhelmed by all the new areas that open up after delivering the drill parts!
